The European Commission’s DG EAC has selected the consortium – led by our member mica – music austria / Austrian Music Export and including EMEE, Czech Arts and Theatre Institute / SoundCzech, Music Export Poland, KEA European Affairs, Music Finland and PRS Foundation – to deliver work on implementing steps to develop and promote European Music Export (CALL FOR TENDERS N° EAC/2020/OP/0006).
Hand in hand with networks representing European music professionals, the general objective of this work will be to generate new knowledge and approaches to European music export through research and innovative pilot actions. Our mission is to build on the “Study on European Music Export Strategy” published in 2019, implementing some of the Strategy’s toolbox elements.
This mission will be conducted with the advice and contribution of The Advisory Committee, involving Live DMA, Yourope, IMPALA, GESAC, IMMF, EMMA, European Jazz Network, Fevis Europe, Eurosonic Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, ECSA and IAO Music.
